Motilall Persaud

Motilall Persaud was the commissioner of the Rupununi district in Guyana during the time of the Rupununi Rebellion in January 1969. He was among those arrested by the insurgents who sought to secede from Guyana, highlighting the local authority's struggle during this politically charged uprising.
