Moustapha Hamze

Moustapha Hamze is a 66-year-old surgeon working at the Nabih Berri governmental hospital in Nabatieh, Lebanon. During the recent Israel-Lebanon conflict, he volunteered at the hospital, dedicating himself to treating the wounded while facing the constant threat of airstrikes. He has experienced the devastating impacts of the war firsthand, including the loss of colleagues and the psychological toll of working in a dangerous environment where healthcare workers have become direct targets.
