Mr. Alongkot Polmuk was recently mentioned in the news regarding a case of mistaken identity linked to the national ID number of a well-known monk, Phra Alongkot. Reports initially suggested that their identification numbers were the same, leading to confusion about their identities. However, the Department of Provincial Administration clarified that they are indeed two different individuals, and the claims of overlapping identification numbers were false.
