Mr. Lai

Mr. Lai is a third-generation member of a family business specializing in traditional steamed cake, known as '砵仔糕'. This year, he participated in the competitive bidding for stalls at Victoria Park's Lunar New Year market, successfully securing two large dried goods stalls at prices of 51,000 HKD and 16,100 HKD. He noted that the competitive atmosphere this year was heightened due to the recent revival of business in Hong Kong post-pandemic, although he anticipates challenges due to ongoing consumer trends.
