Mr Richardson

Mr. Richardson is a former Auckland police custody officer who recently made headlines after being sentenced for drug possession. In February 2024, police found 0.6 grams of cocaine in his home during a search, leading to charges against him. Though he pleaded guilty to possessing cocaine, he was discharged without conviction by the court, which took into account his remorse and character references. Richardson resigned from his position before any employment process could take place, as the seriousness of the charges against him was deemed rare for a civilian police employee.
