Muamer ef. Zukorlić, born on March 6, 1970, in Orlje near Tutin, was a prominent Serbian politician, scholar, and religious leader. He served as the mufti of the Islamic Community in Serbia and was a vice president of the National Assembly of Serbia. Zukorlić was instrumental in establishing various educational and cultural institutions, including the International University in Novi Pazar. He also played a significant role in the political landscape of Serbia, leading the Bosniak Democratic Community and later the Party of Justice and Reconciliation. Zukorlić passed away on November 6, 2021, from a heart attack.
