Muath Al-Kasasbeh
Muath Al-Kasasbeh was a Jordanian Air Force pilot captured by ISIS in December 2014 after his aircraft was downed near Raqqa, Syria. His brutal execution in February 2015, where he was burned alive, was filmed and disseminated by ISIS, drawing international outrage and highlighting the group's extreme brutality during its campaign in Iraq and Syria.
