Muhammad Habib Hussaini

Muhammad Habib Hussaini is the Nasarawa State Chairman of the Fulbe Development and Cultural Organization (FUDECO). He has been actively advocating for peace between farmers and herders in Nigeria, expressing concerns over the ongoing conflicts in rural communities. In a recent stakeholders’ engagement, he emphasized the need to revive abandoned nomadic schools to combat illiteracy and promote education among pastoralists, which he believes is essential for reducing tensions and fostering harmony. Hussaini also highlighted efforts to empower pastoralist women through vocational training, aiming to enhance their economic independence and address issues of insecurity in the region.
