Muhammad Javad Bahonar was an Iranian politician and educator who served as Prime Minister of Iran for a brief period in 1981. He was known for his dedication to the principles of the Islamic Revolution and was closely associated with Ayatollah Khomeini. Bahonar was assassinated in the same bombing that killed President Rajai, a pivotal event in Iran's early revolutionary history.
