Muhammed Tahir

Dr. Muhammed Tahir is an Iraqi-born physician currently residing in England, known for his remarkable humanitarian efforts during the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Initially volunteering for two weeks to treat the injured amidst the Israeli bombardment, he was unexpectedly stranded for seven months due to the closure of the Rafah Border Crossing by the Netanyahu government. During his time in Gaza, he performed approximately 1,200 medical procedures, witnessing firsthand the devastating impact of war on civilians, particularly women and children. His experiences and insights into the dire healthcare situation in Gaza have made him a poignant voice for the suffering of its people.
