Mumtaz Doghmush

Mumtaz Doghmush is a prominent leader of the Doghmush clan in Gaza, known for his historical role in the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees and later for forming the 'Army of Islam,' which has ties to the Islamic State. He was involved in the 2006 cross-border attack that resulted in the capture of Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit. Despite his significant influence, he has not been publicly seen or heard from for several years.
