Mundia Kahura

Dr. Mundia Kahura is the National Deputy Chair of the Kenya Medical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Dentists Union (KMPDU). He has been vocal in advocating for the rights of healthcare workers in Kenya, particularly in the context of the ongoing crisis regarding the Social Health Authority (SHA) cover. Recently, he warned that if the government does not address the issues surrounding the non-remittance of healthcare funds, KMPDU and other civil servants would escalate their protests, potentially leading to a total shutdown of public services.
