Muraina Taiwo is a member of the Governance Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos State, involved in mediating the recent political crisis within the Lagos State House of Assembly. He has been instrumental in discussions aimed at resolving tensions between lawmakers, particularly regarding the leadership of the assembly and the positions of the impeached Speaker Mudashiru Obasa and the current Speaker Mojisola Meranda.
