Murali Naik

Murali Naik was a 23-year-old soldier from Kalli Thanda village in Andhra Pradesh, who tragically lost his life during an exchange of fire in Jammu and Kashmir as part of his duty. He was a part of the first batch of recruits under the Indian government's Agnipath scheme, and his bravery and sacrifice were honored with full state honors during his last rites.
