Murtuzali Murtuzaliev, born in January 1957, is a prominent politician in Dagestan, Russia. He graduated from Dagestan State University with a degree in law and has been serving as a deputy in the People's Assembly of Dagestan since 1999, representing the Fair Russia party. He held the position of director at the state-owned enterprise Dagestanavtodor from 2010 to 2013 and is known for being a member of various committees, including one that oversees the accuracy of income declarations by deputies. Recently, he has been in the news due to a corruption lawsuit filed by the General Prosecutor's Office, which accuses him of owning property worth significantly more than his declared income.
