Musienga Kandai

Musienga Kandai is a 52-year-old farmer from Givogi Village in Vihiga County, Kenya. After facing severe crop failures due to prolonged dry spells, he has embraced irrigation farming through a new project launched by the Vihiga County Government. Kandai plans to transition from maize to growing African leafy vegetables, which are nutritious and have a ready market, thereby improving his family's food security and income.
