Mustapha Ussif is a Ghanaian politician who served as the Executive Director of the National Service Authority (NSA) from 2017 to 2021 and as the Member of Parliament for Yagaba Kubori. He has recently been implicated in a significant scandal involving alleged payroll fraud amounting to Gh₵548 million, where he is accused of overseeing a compromised payroll system that facilitated the payment of non-existent personnel. Following his tenure at the NSA, he was appointed as the Minister of Youth and Sports from 2021 to 2024. The Attorney-General has stated that Ussif’s approval was crucial in authorizing falsified payroll data, linking him to various charges including stealing and money laundering.
