Muthanna al-Azzawi

Muthanna al-Azzawi is an Iraqi politician and member of the Baghdad provincial council, representing the Azem Alliance, a centrist Sunni coalition. Recently, he was in the news following an armed attack on his office in Yusufiyah, where gunmen opened fire, wounding two of his bodyguards. Al-Azzawi condemned the attack, expressing his commitment to serve his community despite the violence surrounding the upcoming elections in Iraq.
