Mydea White Simmons

Mydea White Simmons is the current president of the Cuttington University Alumni Association (CUAA), having taken office in 2023. She is dedicated to improving the residential life for students at Cuttington University, particularly following the devastating fire that damaged the Rally Hall women's dormitory in 2019. Under her leadership, the CUAA has raised nearly US$50,000 for renovations, aiming to modernize the campus facilities and enhance the overall student living experience. Simmons emphasizes the importance of creating a supportive environment for students, reflecting on her own experiences in the dormitory during her student years in the 1980s.
