Mykhailo Tarasenko

Mykhailo Tarasenko is a Ukrainian veteran who joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine in January 2023. After a severe injury from a landmine explosion during combat, which resulted in the amputation of his leg, he underwent rehabilitation and learned to adapt to life with a prosthetic limb. His journey of recovery led him to scale Mount Hoverla, the highest peak in Ukraine, inspiring others with similar experiences. Mykhailo is now focused on helping fellow veterans through adaptive training and rehabilitation, emphasizing the importance of resilience and living in the moment.
