Mzee Kenyatta

Mzee Kenyatta, also known as Jomo Kenyatta, was the first President of Kenya and a key figure in the country's struggle for independence from British colonial rule. His presidency, which lasted from 1964 until his death in 1978, was marked by significant political and social changes, as well as controversies surrounding his governance style that some critics label as promoting an 'imperial presidency'.
