Mzolisi Dyasi

Mzolisi Dyasi is a former anti-apartheid activist who endured significant physical and mental trauma during his four years of imprisonment. He vividly recalls the pain of losing his pregnant girlfriend and cousin to violence during the struggle against apartheid. Now in his 60s, Dyasi struggles with chronic health issues and feels disillusioned about the lack of support from the government, despite having fought for freedom and democracy in South Africa.
