After losing her father during WWII, she relocated with her family to Belgrade, where she pursued her passion for acting, graduating from the Academy of Dramatic Arts. Regin became a celebrated figure in both Yugoslav and international cinema, appearing in numerous films and television series across Europe. She transitioned to screenwriting later in her career, leaving behind a legacy that highlights her contributions to the film industry. Regin passed away in 2019 in London, leaving her daughter Tanja behind.
