Naaba Sigri de Saponé

Naaba Sigri de Saponé is a traditional chief and guardian of ancestral knowledge in Saponé, Burkina Faso. He played a significant role in the recent labelling of the Saponé hat, a symbol of cultural identity for the Burkinabè people, and expressed gratitude towards the government for this recognition during the presentation ceremony held on July 4, 2020.
