Nabí Barrí

Nabí Barrí is a prominent Lebanese politician who has served as the Speaker of the Parliament of Lebanon since 1992. He is a member of the Amal Movement and has been an influential figure in Lebanese politics, particularly in relation to Shiite interests. Barrí has played a key role in mediating political disputes and has been involved in various governmental agreements throughout his career. Recently, he was in the news for addressing concerns regarding Israel's military presence in southern Lebanon and the implementation of a ceasefire agreement that was supposed to lead to the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the region.
