Nachum Dov Broyer is the Rebbe of Boyan, a prominent Hasidic dynasty known for its rich traditions and spiritual leadership. He is renowned for his role in the annual Lag BaOmer bonfire at Mount Meron, where he ignited the first fire, a practice upheld by the Rebbes of Boyan for over a century. This year, his presence was particularly significant as it marked a memorial for the 45 victims of the Meron tragedy from four years ago, reflecting the community's resilience and commitment to safety during the celebrations.
