Nadeem-ul-Haque

Nadeem-ul-Haque is a prominent Pakistani economist and former Vice Chancellor of the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE). He has also served as the deputy chair of the Planning Commission of Pakistan, where he was involved in formulating economic policies. Known for his critical analysis of economic systems, Haque has been vocal about the inefficiencies in Pakistan's remittance framework and the disproportionate benefits accrued by banks at the expense of overseas Pakistanis.
