Nanda Mallawarachchi

Major General Nanda Mallawarachchi is a former Secretary of the Ministry of Sports in Sri Lanka, known for his administrative roles in managing national sporting events and policies. Recently, he has been in the news due to serious allegations related to the distribution of imported sports equipment during the 2015 presidential election, alongside former Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage and former Chairman of the Sathosa institution, Nalin Pranandu.
