Napa is a Peruvian fisherman who survived an astonishing 95 days adrift in the Pacific Ocean after his fishing boat was thrown off course by a storm. He endured extreme dehydration and a lack of food, resorting to eating insects, birds, and even turtles to stay alive. His remarkable survival story drew international attention when he was finally rescued by an Ecuadorian fishing patrol, located over 1,000 kilometers from the Peruvian coast. Napa credited his survival to thoughts of his family, including his two-month-old granddaughter.
