Narineh Makrtchyan

Narineh Makrtchyan is the head of the National Press Club in Armenia, an organization dedicated to safeguarding the rights of journalists. Recently, she was in the news after a confrontation with Morteza Sabzevari, the Iranian ambassador to Armenia, during a press conference where she defended the presence of a journalist from Radio Liberty, insisting on the importance of journalistic freedom and the right to ask questions.
