
Nasos Athanasiou
Nasos Athanasiou was a prominent Greek journalist and politician, born on March 2, 1951, in Aigaleo. He began his journalism career while studying law, becoming well-known for his work on various media platforms, including ERT and Mega Channel. He actively participated in the journalism union ESIHEA and served as a member of the Athens municipal council and a regional councilor before being elected as a member of parliament for Attica with SYRIZA in 2012. Athanasiou was also a published author, known for his novels and children's books. He passed away at the age of 75 after a lengthy illness.
