Nasredin Ismatullo

Nasredin Ismatullo is a prominent Tajik diplomat, recently appointed as the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Uzbekistan. Born in 1971, he graduated from Tajik Agricultural University and the Diplomatic Academy of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, specializing in international relations. Over his career, Ismatullo has served in various diplomatic roles, including ambassadorial positions in Austria, Italy, Slovakia, Hungary, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, as well as being Tajikistan's permanent representative to the OSCE. Prior to his recent appointment, he served as the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan since January 2024.
