Nastya Rogatko

Nastya Rogatko is a Belarusian writer and communications expert, born in Russia and raised in Ukraine. She gained prominence after leaving Belarus in 2020 due to political repression, where she played a significant role in the democratic movement as the head of communications for Svetlana Tikhanovskaya. Her debut book, "Nosi s soboy," is a collection of semi-autobiographical stories reflecting on themes of emigration, relationships, and identity amid the backdrop of geopolitical turmoil in Eastern Europe. The book, created through self-publishing, explores her personal experiences and the complexities of life in a region marked by conflict and censorship, showcasing the nuanced perspectives often overlooked in mainstream narratives.
