Natalia Fernández Díaz-Granados

Natalia Fernández Díaz-Granados was a 34-year-old Colombian citizen who tragically lost her life during a series of earthquakes that struck northern Venezuela on June 24, 2023. Despite having recently undergone a life-saving kidney transplant donated by her sister, Marcela, Natalia was vacationing in Venezuela with her husband and daughter when the disaster occurred. Unfortunately, she became trapped under the rubble of a condominium in Tucacas, and rescue efforts were unable to reach her in time. Her family confirmed her passing on social media, prompting expressions of condolences from officials, including the mayor of Santa Marta, Carlos Pinedo Cuello.
