Natalia Ortiz Ceberio

Natalia Ortiz Ceberio is a prominent academic and researcher in the field of Hispanic studies, currently serving as the coordinator of Hispanic Studies at the University of New South Wales (UNSW). She has dedicated much of her work to exploring the experiences of Spanish emigrants in Australia, particularly women known as 'martas' who were recruited under the Franco regime's Plan Marta in the 1960s. Ortiz Ceberio has conducted extensive interviews with these women, uncovering their stories and the challenges they faced in their new lives.
