Natalie Ruiz

Natalie Ruiz is a ninth-grade student who participated in the Mente Sana project, where she learned about the importance of mental health and self-esteem. After reading a story about body dysmorphic disorder, she reflected on the damaging effects of negative opinions and emphasized the importance of self-acceptance, encouraging her peers to value their inner selves over external perceptions.
