Nataliya Levaya

Nataliya Levaya is an illustrator from Brest, Belarus, known for her artistic contributions and activism. After the onset of the war, she relocated to Poland, where she continued her work as an artist and set designer. Despite warnings from colleagues, Nataliya chose to return to her home country in December 2023, expressing a deep longing for her homeland. However, she was arrested at the border in May 2024 on charges related to financing extremist activities due to her previous donations to various initiatives. Recently, it was reported that she became pregnant after a meeting with her husband in prison, a significant development given the couple's long struggle with infertility.
