Nate Jones
Nate Jones is a former professional American football player and current NFL official. After being selected in the seventh round of the 2004 NFL Draft, he played as a cornerback for the Dallas Cowboys for four seasons before joining the Miami Dolphins. He also had brief tenures with the Denver Broncos and the New England Patriots. Transitioning to officiating in 2019, Jones gained attention for his protective intervention during a sideline scuffle involving Seattle Seahawks receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in a game against the Houston Texans.
