Nathaly Farinango Delgado

Nathaly Farinango Delgado, a 25-year-old lawyer, was recently elected as the president of the Economic and Taxation Commission of Ecuador's new National Assembly, making her one of the youngest legislators in the country. She first entered politics in the early 2023 snap elections as a candidate from Pichincha representing the ADN alliance. In addition to her political role, Farinango has volunteered with international agencies under the United Nations and served as a legal advisor for the Association of Relatives and Friends of Disappeared Persons in Ecuador (Asfadec). Her commission focuses on fiscal, budgetary, monetary, and financial matters, playing a crucial role in shaping Ecuador's economic policies.
