Nauman Sheikh is an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) with the Karachi police who was injured during a police operation aimed at apprehending a suspect involved in the murder of a woman and her three children in the Surjani Town area. During the operation, Sheikh was shot when the suspect attempted to flee after stealing a police officer's firearm.
