Nazir Muhammad Ayad
Dr. Nazir Muhammad Ayad is the Grand Mufti of Egypt and the head of the General Secretariat for the Fatwa Authorities Worldwide. He is known for his role in providing guidance on religious matters, particularly in relation to Islamic jurisprudence. Recently, he was in the news for announcing the minimum value of Zakat al-Fitr for the year 1446 Hijri, which is set at 35 Egyptian pounds per individual.
