Neđeljko Gardašević

Neđeljko Gardašević was recently sentenced to one year in prison and ordered to pay three million euros to the Montenegrin budget for his role in the abuse of economic power during the privatization of Hotel 'AS' in Perazića dolu. As the president of the Board of Directors of the Cyprus-based company 'Montena Invest', he was accused of failing to activate a bank guarantee that was allegedly issued by Sberbank in Moscow. The court found that this failure led to unlawful financial gain at the expense of the Montenegrin state budget.
