Necdet Kökeş

Necdet Kökeş, born in 1944 in Adana, is a veteran Turkish actor renowned for his roles in numerous films, particularly in the 'Battal Gazi' series, where he portrayed the beloved character 'ZıpZıp.' He began his career in the early 1960s and became a prominent figure in Turkish cinema, especially in adventure and historical films. Despite retiring, he remained connected to the film industry. Recently, Kökeş has been in the news due to his serious health issues, including a heart attack and complications requiring intensive care.
