Nelson Maara

Nelson Maara is the County Executive Committee Member for Water in Nakuru County, Kenya. He has been instrumental in addressing the water crisis in the region, particularly following the stalled construction of the Itare dam. Recently, he lauded the acquisition of new drilling equipment aimed at enhancing the county's capacity to supply clean drinking water. Under his leadership, the county has successfully connected thousands of households to water and has engaged in numerous projects to tackle the daily water deficit faced by residents.
