Nelson Rutilio Lemus

Nelson Rutilio Lemus was a Salvadoran campesino who, alongside Jesuit priest Rutilio Grande, was murdered by the national guards in 1977. Their assassination was emblematic of the brutal repression faced by those who advocated for social justice in El Salvador during a time of military dictatorship.
