Nelson Villasanti Espínola was a notorious criminal and a key member of the Clan Díaz, known for his involvement in violent crimes, including homicides and armed robberies. He was killed during a police operation in Caazapá while attempting to take hostages, after being on the run since 2017 with multiple warrants for his arrest.
