Nelu Glasu

Nelu Glasu is a Moldovan politician who served as the mayor of Costești for three terms starting in 2015. He was a candidate for the Party of Communists in his first election and subsequently ran for the Party of Socialists in 2019 and 2023. His tenure was marred by legal issues, culminating in his revocation from office due to findings of incompatibility by the National Integrity Authority, which led to a court ruling that upheld the decision to hold new local elections.
