Nemat Alimoradi

Nemat Alimoradi is a Kurdish bookseller and activist who founded Kitab Arzan, a bookstore and publishing house in Sweden, dedicated to promoting Kurdish literature and culture. Having immigrated to Sweden in the 1980s, he has been a pivotal figure in the Kurdish literary community, publishing hundreds of books and advocating for freedom of expression, especially for Kurdish writers. Recently, he gained attention on TikTok as his daughter Sitav began marketing their bookstore through engaging videos, showcasing his vibrant personality and passion for literature.
