Nenad Erich is a legendary football goalkeeper from Kazakhstan who spent 11 years in the Kazakh football league, most notably with FC Astana, where he became a club icon by playing 318 matches. He also represented the national team of Kazakhstan in 8 matches. Following the end of his contract with Astana, the club honored him by retiring his number one jersey, recognizing his contributions to the team's success, which included multiple championship titles and participation in European competitions. Recently, Erich made headlines by renouncing his Kazakh citizenship and moving to Belgrade with plans to return to Serbia.
