Nenad Pavlović

Nenad Pavlović is a remarkable individual born in 1982 who has lived with Gaucher's disease, a rare genetic metabolic disorder, since childhood. After years of misdiagnosis and severe symptoms, he was finally diagnosed at the age of five. Despite the challenges posed by his illness, including frequent hospitalizations and debilitating pain, Nenad maintained a positive outlook on life. He became an advocate for raising awareness about rare diseases and played a pivotal role in establishing a patient association that helped others gain access to treatment. After receiving therapy in the late 2000s, he experienced a significant improvement in his health, allowing him to lead a fulfilling life, complete his education, and start a family. Today, Nenad lives a normal life, actively working and engaging in sports, while also supporting others affected by Gaucher's disease.
